In this website you can search for photographers in three way. If you want to search more advanced then go to RKD-Artists to view the complete database including other artists than photographers.
quick search (on every page available)
Fill in you search string in the green area and hit the enter-key. The website will search in name fields and places.
alfabetical search (main menu "Photographers")
Alfabetical search is recommended if you only know the forst characters of the last name and if you want to browse large groups of records.
advanced search (main menu "Photographers")
You can add a maximum of ten search lines to search in specific fiels in the database. For example: artists name contains "Elsken" and place of birth is equal to "Amsterdam".
Attention: this advanced search can easily end in "no results" when you do not know exactly how to use it and make misspellings.
